Louis Anglesey, Earl of Upnor is a fictional character who at age 14, pushes his sword like a demon. He spent the Interregnum with Monmouth in Paris. Daniel witnessed Upnor's murder of a puritan Trinity student and decided to be mute after being cowed by another student. Later on, he joins the Royal Society.
