Nyazi is one of The Ten in The Confusion. His background story is mostly told in the chapter starting on page 197.

He is a Barbary Corsair who can speak Sabir as well as Spanish. He is a tall Egyptian, and was a camel-trader of the Upper Nile before being enslaved.
