Plus - Ea (written by means of two signs signifying '"house"' and "'water'"), in the Babylonian religion, originally Enki (whom we know from Snow Crash), the patron deity of the city of Eridu, situated in ancient times at the head of the Persian Gulf, but now, by reason of the constant accumulation of soil in the Euphrates valley, at some distance from the gulf.

Baroque Era Waterhouse Family Tree The Waterhouse family is fictitious. Various members appear in The Baroque Cycle and Cryptonomicon. John begat Calvin begat Drake begat Daniel begat Godfrey.

Several generations of stupendous badasses later -

5 offspring had Lawrence Waterhouse and Mary cCmndhd:

  • The unnamed eldest son and champion fund raiser. Suspect he's Alan Godfrey Waterhouse named for Turing and his grandfather ...

    • and father to Randall Lawrence Waterhouse who is the only contemporary grandkid who knew Grandpa.
    • Geoff (as in Godfrey I guess) married to Auntie Anne.
    • Red (gather he is named for both Rodi & Enoch as well as Mary's cousin Rod-- Chairman Mathematics Department Okaley College Macomb, IL).
    • Nina (professor of Qwghlmian Lingusitics).
    • Tom (asteroid specialist @ JPL) married to Rachel the rapacious.
